About event
The shoegaze trio Favorite Obsession, JAF 34 and Barbora Cihak will present their world, where sound becomes a tangible wall of sound and every song is like an echo of your lost memories. These bands will pull you into a world where you forget reality and where every drum beat resonates with your own thoughts.
Come hear new unseen talents who can transform rock music into something more - an experience that you'll feel it long after the last notes have faded. Things are starting to move in the underground and this is your moment to be there before the others.
- Favorite Obsession -
Favorite Obsession is a dreampop/shoegaze trio from Most, who since 2017 have been dreamy, melancholic music inspired by the vintage sound of the 60s and 70s. This year, Karel, Tereza and Soto finished recording their debut album with Amák Golden, which will soon see the light of day. After the release of the EP Sad Disco (2021), which impressed with its melancholic depth, the band became a quiet tip on the Czech alternative scene. Live Favorite Obsession offer a musical experience that is more like a sound memory — hazy, nostalgic and without direct answers, more of a feeling than a story.
- Barbora Cihak -
Barbora Cihak is a young Czech musician and a singer who works in the genres of dream pop and indie rock. She is known for her melancholic lyrics and the dreamy atmosphere of her songs. In 2022, she released her debut EP "Time And Fate", which reflects her personal experiences and emotions. Barbora is not only a performer, but also the author of her lyrics and the producer of her music, which allows her to fully express her artistic vision. Her work appeals to listeners with its sincerity and depth, which is also confirmed by her success in the hit parade of undiscovered Starters on Radio Wave, where she reached the final.
