About event
Shum Davar (דבר שום) invites you to his penultimate concert, which will take place on June 22, 2026 at 19:30 (doors 19:00) in the Synagogue Na Palmovce in Liben.
This extraordinary evening will also be a meeting of many musicians who have been through the band during its existence. The program will offer a representative cross-section of the ensemble's work — from traditional Jewish, Roma, Eastern European and Caucasian songs to original compositions by accordionist and co-founder Aliaksandr Yasinski to newer projects created in collaboration with distinguished guests.
Shum Davar is an international ensemble based in Prague, founded in 2013 by musicians from Belarus, Georgia, Bohemia, Slovakia and Moravia. The band has built a distinctive sound combining respect for traditional roots with authorial invention and a contemporary approach to arrangements.
They have four albums to their credit – Lieben (2016), Tbilisi (2017), Folklore Fusions (2020) and Rebirth (2025), the single Tribute to Ukraine (2022) and a number of other projects and collaborations. Over the years, the line-up has changed and expanded to include a number of prominent personalities, many of whom will meet again on the same stage at this concert.
The penultimate Shum Davar concert will not only be a musical event, but above all a celebration of the band's common journey, friendship and more than ten years of history.
