Two people, two mentalities, one everyday life. Authors tell of real and impossible encounters. He jogs briskly through the day, he is Swiss. She sits reservedly in the waiting room, she is German. – Wait. Something's wrong... whatever. For him and her it will be a journey through human abysses with occasional spiritual flights of fancy due to linguistic and mental differences. People make phone calls and argue, wait and endure (each other). A picture arch of humanity, between despair and hope, dialogue and dream. Poetic, amazing and full of little surprising twists. Extremely playful, convincing in terms of acting, inspiring in language, grippingly clever and sometimes evil.
The German/Swiss satirical duo “Hart auf Hart” (Elisabeth Hart & Rhaban Straumann) enchants with their linguistic and acting precision. Satirical play. Absolutely political. “You say stop” is like “do you want to rock?” and “Until when is breakfast served?” already the third tour program with her uniquely idiosyncratic signature. The Swiss author Franz Hohler wrote “The Train Accident” specifically for them. “Hart auf Hart” has expanded it into a “(Franz) Hohler Abend”.
Awarded the special prize of the Tuttlinger Krähe 2025 and the Thuringian cabaret prize 2026.
