✐ Šifra mistra Leonarda – nedělní Ateliérovka pro děti | Workshop for Kids | PoE

One of the works exhibited at the Poetics of Encryption exhibition is the object because physical wounds heal… (2022) by Trevor Paglen. He has been interested in patches and other emblems that he wear special military units on his uniforms. It is this outsider art genre that is also an inspiration for his statue. The central field is dominated by a golden skull, then there are two messages around the perimeter of the circle - one is written in Latin, the other is encrypted in a numerical code and it is on the audience to decipher it. We can create it for ourselves, but also for parents, friends or anyone who is close to us. It should reflect what is important for us or for the recipient, popular or typical. As in Trevor Paglen, we also involve a hidden message that we encrypt ourselves. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 9 March at 14:00! Parents can join or have children form with our lecturers and in the meantime to go through the Poetics of Encryption exhibition undisturbed. Entry to her is free. You can book your place by e-mail [email protected] until Friday 7 March, 18:00. If you do not receive a confirmation from us, it means that the workshop capacity has been filled and your reservation is therefore not valid. Thank you for your understanding. you!

The workshop of the Master Leonard is part of the cycle of art workshops called Atelier. The cycle is designed for children aged 5 to 14 years, but also for parents and the general public and its aim is to bring inspiration to their own artistic work. For each workshop, the Rudolfinum Gallery publishes a new illustrated worksheet, which is freely available on the website of the gallery
