Cyrillo-Methodian celebrations have been building in recent years by a polarizing event of the current government set for building a kind of “national identity” in their spirit.
The local bishop invited the local bishop to celebrate Czech Cardinal Duka, known for his negative attitudes to LGBTI+ persons, to the national pilgrimage in ancient Nitra. This is one of the reasons why our first holiday event will be a bit unusual: we will meet in the town below Viničný vrchom and we will take a spiritual ascent to the majestic Zobor, where there is a beautiful view of the wide surroundings. After an encouraging hike there will be a possibility for lunch together and, if interested, the possibility to visit the Holy Mass 16:15 in the monastery church in the city center. Enjoy a nice day outside Bratislava!
