About event
Dear fans of books,
How does literature help us better understand the world around us? 🌍📖
Learning Hub cordially invites you to an exceptional conversation with the leading Slovak writer and playwright Silvestre Lavrík. 🎙️
Together with moderator Anna Bartová, we will delve into current topics:
🔹 Slovak and Central European identity - how to talk about it constructively?
🔹 historical memory and coming to terms with the past
🔹 language as a tool of connection, but also of manipulation
We will discuss the latest novel Prediction for Tomorrow, as well as the author's journalism. The evening will be pleasantly complemented by a chamber musical accompaniment performed by Ján Kostolány and Oleksandra Yurchenko. 🎻✨
The talk is intended for everyone - lovers of contemporary literature, as well as those who want to better understand today's times through stories.
🗓 WHEN: April 23 at 5:00 p.m.
📍 WHERE: Štefánikova 44, Nitra (former VÚB building, 2nd floor)
🎟 ENTRY: Free (after registration)
The number of places is limited, reserve your place as soon as possible:
