About event
The guitar festival September brings the best of the world of classic guitar to Prague. It builds on the tradition of the Prague Guitar Forum project - platforms for meeting guitar professionals and students, which has been offering a weekend full of educational activities, workshops and professional discussions since 2019. Guitar September - the concert part of the festival - will bring top guitarists to six exceptional concerts that will light up the autumn Prague. We start with a concert for the parents of the youngest children, which we prepared in cooperation with the Philharmonic. Silvio Schneider plays the Latino style program. The German-Polish Artis Guitar Duo will present its energetic musical telepathy. Štěpán Rak and his son Jan Matěj will celebrate the anniversary with a joint concert. The festival will end with the performance of the Czech guitar orchestra Czego. The concert in the Baroque refectory (12. 9. 2025, 19:00)

He is currently traveling with his concert program called "Crossroads". It combines sleek boss-nov with groovy funky rhythms, jazz with pop and other influences from flamenco, classical music, electronic sounds and loops. He calls his own style as Gro's World Guitar. Silvio Schneider has prepared entertaining rhythmic games and exercises so that the rhythm permeates your head and body.
