If you say Simon Bergholz alias Simon and describe your songs with just one sentence, you will definitely come up with it: "Just wow!" - And that is guaranteed not only that his new album is called that. Simon simply has a lot to offer and puts a really good mood!
with his children's songs for advanced users to an exciting roller coaster ride through a colorful mix of trendy topics of small and larger kids. His texts always come with a charming portion of nonsense and worries-packed in modern pop, rock and crazy hip-hop sounds-at all times for a good mood.
Exactly that, makes Simon - who also works as a guitar teacher and songwriter, also plays in a punk rock band and is a father - in the children's song maker scene absolutely unique.
A uniqueness that will also arrive in the Rolf-Zuckowski musical of the young musical Braunschweig in 2018. As a musician and singer, he is not personally discovered by none other than Rolf Zuckowski. Enthusiastic about Simons (no) children's song demos, he takes him as a new artist for his label "Again !!!" under contract. Convinced of his exceptionally good feeling for trendy children's topics, strong sing -along refrains and a fresh mix of current, cool grooves and sounds with funny verses, it is clear to Zuckowski: "The boy brings it!" With "Popcorn for everyone" he tears small and big fans with hits like "Chill Digga!" And "yes no maybe", who also play up and down on (children) radio stations every day and fill the places in front of all stages.
2021 Simon throws the hit list again. He presents his second album entitled "Just Wow!" Instead of talking around the hot porridge with a shallow poem, it goes straight to the matter with Simon's mix of pop, rock and cool hip-hop sounds and cheeky texts for children from primary school age and everyone who loves good music. His stories also prove that Simon is not afraid of humorous pedagogy. His concept? No concept or simply music from the gut, in which there are no limits to creativity, but in the end everything fits together.
Of course Simon also says through his many years of stage experience with all the waters of live music. He implements his songs solo or with his band.
