SIMPLY ROCKERS SOUND SYSTEM invites MINDEL REGGAE FAMILY @MUSICBOXLISBOA 19/12/2024

The last Heavyweight Dub Session of the year at MUSICBOX LISBOA!!! It is with great pleasure that we will share this session with Mindel Reggae Family, a militant music collective with a conscious message. That night, Roots and Steppa Rootikal will be kings and expect to hear Reggae from its founding until today, including, of course, its own productions and dubplates.

The night will be amplified by our Simply Rockers Sound System and taking over the control tower will be the select ERNESTO HONESTO, THIAGO MAYOMBE and singer NATTY FRED, who are going to the archives to offer the best experience musical and sound possible for whoever comes to the session.

“MINDEL REGGAE FAMILY SOUNDSYSTEM was founded in 2011 by the select Hudson Jah Son and JahRiver with the initial objective of promoting and disseminating Reggae music on the Portuguese circuit. Mindel Reggae Family has been performing regularly for over 10 years in rooms, clubs, radio stations and festivals in Portugal, Spain, Luxembourg, Holland, France, Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde. Mindel Reggae Family is recognized as one of the main Roots Reggae & Culture Soundsystems on the Portuguese circuit, actively participating in the organization of festivals and events such as Him Dub Festival, Raiz i kultura, Rub a Dub Club, Rototom Lunch Party, MoonQuake among others. ”
