Singing Session - come join in or listen!
Event by: Roode Remise
Location: Haarlemmerplein 11h, Haarlemmerplein 11h, Amsterdam - Amsterdam-Centrum
About event
Bring together a group of folk singers who sing their songs for and with each other in a café and you have a Singing Session as is very common in Ireland or the US! In the Roode Remise this happens every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 7:30 PM.
The hard core of singers know each other from the famous Backroom Sessions of Mulligan's Irish Bar, but everyone, experienced or inexperienced, is welcome, as is every genre.
Folk, Irish Trad, Pop, Jazz, Americana, accompanied by an instrument or A Capella, solo or with harmonies, everything is good! (Just make sure you can sing it by heart!). But if you just want to come and listen, that's also completely fine!
Be welcome to an evening of moving ballads, exuberant pub songs, swinging Old Time, the occasional instrumental and whatever else is on the table at the Roode Remise Singing Session!
