The Sinnoi band presents an original form of contemporary Korean music by combining traditional Korean, jazz and electronics.
Sinnoi is a quartet composed of unique artists. Wonsool Lee, a double bass player of no competition on the Korean jazz scene; Bora Kim, a unique singer with an extensive repertoire by KJǒnggi minjo (traditional Korean songs of the KJǒnggi area), to Čŏngga (a kind of traditional Korean singing); Godam, an artist of electronic music and Nayeon Lee, playing Pchiri flutes and Tchäpchjŏngso. This unique combination of jazz, Korean traditional music and electronic sound completes original and unique Sinnoi music. Sinnoi music exceeds the boundaries between genres and connects to each other seemingly disparate elements. Bora Kim, Who Has and Extensive Musical Range From Gyeonggi Minyo (Korean Folk Song) and Jeongga (Korean Trditional Vocal Genre); Godam, an Artist of Electronic Sound; Nayeon Lee, and Piri, Taepyeongso Player.
