Sisa Feher & Mammatus [SK,CZ] is a project led by slovak multi- instrumentalist and composer Sisa Feher. With her ensamble full of outstanding musicians she offers the concert full of untamed alternative jazz compositions topped with her raw vocal expression and a hint of psychadelic flavour to match the current social and enviromental topics, that her music contemplates.
Sisa Feher – vocal, guitar
Vojtěch Procházka – keys, synths
Oskar Török – trumpet
Štěpán Janoušek – trombone
Miloš Klápště – upright bass, synth
Marek Urbánek - drums
The concert was supported by OSA – Ochranný svaz autorský and supported
using public funding by Slovak Arts Council.
QUOTES:
Amazing album. I love how well crafted the songs in this album are. The songs have a very distinct character between each other and are very beautifully arranged. I really appreciate when albums have a clear concept that is reflected throughout the whole album giving it a unity, and this album does that. The band's sound is really strong and it gives a unique character to each song. Every musician is playing 100% at the service of the music. Every song is so well crafted and arranged that it really takes you on a journey, discovering different details on each listen. Bravo! [Marcelo Woloski]
Sisa Feher‘s work is soaked with freedom. It’s not a question of whether she releases a good
album, as the high quality is no surprise, but what direction of musical expression is she
going to choose. [Hudba.sk]
