December 13th from 1pm-late. 6 fantastic St Johns venues. 14 awesome music acts. Artist & artisan vendors galore. Oh, did I mention that it's free? Need I say more?? Might as well...
The St Johns Music Festival & Rumble in the Jumble are at it again, with this celebration of music, arts, and community, spanning throughout the neighborhood!
Wanna know what's happening? Here's the gist of it.
At Two Stroke Coffee, from 1-5pm, you can find vendors Melody Jo, with their spectacular line drawings, Uniquity Glass & Transformed Treasures, featuring gorgeous upcycled jewelry, Natalie Hoge's intricate beadwork accessories, and Surrebral Artist's neurodiversity advocacy based artwork. The music here will start at 1pm with Scott Allen Cello, followed by Kate & the Sweats at 3pm.
At Sticky Wicket (8401 N Ivanhoe) you can find vendors Pink Snake Studios with their fantastic handmade bags, Charluminous Arts handmade accessories, and the FREE STUFF table! Dump your discards, and take some treasures! As for the music schedule, you can hear Phil Ajjarapu at 3:30, Sequoia at 5pm, and then JT Trawick at 7.
At the Wishing Well (8800 N. Lombard), find Kreepzter's iconic St Johns t-shirt designs, blingly fairy hair & buttons Fairy by Rae, The Button Girl, Chris McMurry's art ranging all the creative genres, and Funtopia Crafts fun glass & fairy light crafts. Steve Wilkinson & Grant Cumpston will be playing here at 2pm, and then at, Lewi Longmire!
At Havalina (8927 N. Lombard), find vendors Chula Charmer with their handmade candles and various witchy wonders and Lil J Marzy's sweet upcycled fashions & accessories. You can hear Renee Muzquiz at 3pm, followed by Jet Black Pearl at 6, and Monkey See, Monkey Duo.... The music goes late here... Do I smell an after party??
At Slim's (8635 N. Lombard) you're going to find pickles galore with Father vs Son Pickle co... Get your pickle cocktail, made in collaboration with the bar, and then score some excellent vinyl from The Vinyl Score table. Don't miss Annie Vergnetti & Dave Owen, playing at 5pm, and then at 8pm, it's The Quick & Easy Boys!
At 45th Parallel Wines (8527 N. Lombard), you can find vendors Euphoric Infusions, with their healing CBD Salves, Artisanal Whips with decadent cupcakes to accompany your wine, and Amy Ingram's bright and elegant original art. The music starts here at 2pm with Carols for a Cause, and continues at 6pm with Tzelez Diamondstone's enchanting harp.
Are you asking yourself how you'll ever keep all that info organized in your head? No worries! Just pick up a passport at any one of these venues (Passports will be available Friday), and let it guide you through your day out in St Johns. Get a stamp at each one of the venues, and you can collect a prize at the end of the day!
