We cordially invite you to the eighth year of SkARTovačka!
SkARTovačka was created in 2015 in Polička in cooperation between David Kozák and Adam Smolek, when their common motivation was the presentation of their current artistic work. The name SkARTovačka was based on the exhibition process as a partial fulfillment of the essence of the work of art, while the exhibition process was viewed as an imaginary "shredding". The goal was that the works were not just stored in a drawer, but to create a stimulus for further motivation and development of artistic creation. visual, performative, sound and audiovisual arts. At the same time, it creates a space for mutual discussion and sharing not only between artists, students and creative personalities, but also the wider public and thus supports the discovery of different approaches and ways of thinking through art.

CHXOS and their performances bring many different meanings through the poetic work of Václav Cibulka, to which the tones of the musical accompaniment of the band OCTOPUS will be heard, supplemented by the entry of Berenika Bambasová and Zuzana Gerstnerová, who will transform the destruction into a creation full of colors under the visual accompaniment of Vj Štěpán Kocourek. All of this connected by chaos creating the conditions for the creation of a creative process with the opening of a temporary autonomous zone according to the model BEY, H.: Temporary autonomous zone. Prague: Transit. (2004) .
“The agents of chaos cast a fiery gaze on anything or anyone capable of bearing witness to their existence, their lux et voluptas fever.”
The performance will be free to follow the OCTOPUS duo concert. The fusion of Daniel Finger's electric guitar and Martin Studený's energetic drums, which are gradually transferred to the position of improvised live Drum and bass lines through Robin Coufal and his keyboard synthesizer riffs.
