Are you planning to celebrate the Day of the Fight for Freedom and Democracy in Prague? November 17 is a special day for us Girl Scouts. Thanks to the events of November, we were able to restore free scouting in 1989 after many years of prohibition! Come celebrate the 35th anniversary of this important day with us in the scout town on Národní třída! ⚜️
We will offer you the opportunity to learn about scouting in history and the present, try out interesting activities for children and adults, sing with us at the campfire, chat with scout volunteers, and last but not least, view a Czech unique – the podsové tents, in which we still sleep at camps today. 🏕️
⏰ What will happen here? ⏰
1️⃣ 10:00 Start of activities in the tent city
2️⃣ 13:00 Joint singing of the scout anthem (after the national anthem, in the area between the memorial plaque and Bageteria Boulevard
3️⃣ 16:00 – 17:00 00 & 17:30 – 18:00 Singing at the "camp"
4️⃣ 20:00 common scout shop
The scout town program is prepared by a team of scout volunteers - thank you very much for it ❤️!
In addition to the town, you can also visit the lectures of Roman Šantora - Bob, the leader Scout Archive, and learn more about scouting bans
