About event
Skazka Orchestra is surf dancing in a life jacket, is laughing faces in roaring waves of crisp offbeats, crossing seas in the storm of brass, full night ahead, vodka spilled in the swell, no land in sight and no one who cares. Skazka is dancing until it gets light. Seaworthiness required.
Skazka has been on the move since 2008 and has won a loyal dance audience with two studio albums and over 700 concerts in Germany and Europe. Musically, Skazka Orchestra is limitless, whatever is fun is allowed, from ska to klezmer, jazz to techno. The mix of first-class accordion and drums, virtuoso trumpet, groovy trombone and the swinging double bass as well as their multilingual lyrics gives the band their unique sound.
SkaZka has the ability to carry everyone away, from ravers to lawyers!
Line-up:
Elena Shams (drums)
Jan-Luc Jossa (Percussion)
Marleen Dahms/ Andrej Ugoljew (trombone)
Johannes Böhmer (trumpet)
Valentin Butt (accordion)
Davide Bernardi (bass)
Artur Gorlatschov (guitar, voc.)
