Vinyasa yoga, an increasingly popular yoga style that attracts students with its fluidity and dynamism, while also providing creative teaching opportunities. But how to put together lessons so that they make sense, bring joy to students of different levels of proficiency and systematically advance their skills?
Terka Kalinová has prepared training for yoga instructors who would like to start teaching Vinyasa yoga or who would like to gain more confidence and inspiration for creating lessons.
In general, it is often said that Vinyasa yoga must be creative, fun and full of transitions of varying difficulty. But yoga is not gymnastics, and even though Vinyasa yoga gives us the opportunity to let our imaginations run wild, it is very important to first get a solid foundation in creating a lesson. This consists in connecting often even very small connections between movements and positions that we will include in the lesson. In this way, we can systematically create a lesson that safely develops certain skills and leads students to more difficult asanas.
During the training we will discuss:
The basic scheme for constructing Vinyasa yoga
Variants of sun salutations and their revitalization with elements that really get students moving
Variants of vinyasa transitions for different advanced levels
Detailed analysis of the so-called "Peak pose" - peak positions / sequence
Linking details and connections
Interesting elements to logically insert into the lesson - work with mobility and strength, exercise of the vestibular system and more
How to have a sustainable practice of Vinyasa yoga for today's population
Sequencing yoga lessons of different lengths
How to work with thematic lessons
Workshop price 1,500 CZK
The maximum capacity of the workshop is 12 participants. The workshop will be held from 6 participants or more, otherwise it will be canceled 48 hours before it takes place. Cancellation of the workshop is possible no later than 7 days (168 hours) before the event (see reservation rules).
