Miro traveled Scotland during several visits using only public transport. In this lecture, he will take you on a journey through the most interesting things that this harsh but beautiful country has to offer. We will walk through the historic streets of Edinburgh, soak up the unique atmosphere of Glasgow, get lost in the wild nature of the Scottish Highlands and not miss the breathtaking scenery of the magical Isle of Skye.
In addition to the beautiful nature and monuments, Miro will also tell you about the other side of such travel. You will learn how much of a challenge it is to explore Scotland without a rental car, rely on local trains or buses and face the unpredictable Scottish weather. Come listen to practical tips, funny stories and find out if such a journey full of logistical pitfalls is even worth it!
