About event
Welcome to Slam&Drang!
Poetry Slam is a modern and colorful live literature format in which people compete against each other with texts they have written themselves. Only the audience decides who gets to take home the win.
Young talent is the heart of this changeable format and young talents need stages. That's why Kunst&Krawall welcomes young poets and everyone who wants to set foot on a slam stage for the first time every two months to the Alte Feuerwache (Marchlewskistraße 6, Friedrichshain).
The two moderators Annette Flemig and Birdy will give a workshop on creative writing and performance from 3:30 p.m. With this finishing touch, our rough diamonds can then sparkle on stage!
"There is magic in every beginning"
Be there and experience it for yourself!
The Alte Feuerwache is located at the Weberwiese subway station and if you come with the U5, take the Hildegard-Jadamowitz-Str./Marchlewskistr. exit, keep left and then you can already see the building and the entrance. The studio stage is on the 2nd floor, access is barrier-free.
Have you written a text and want to try yourself out in the spotlight of the studio stage or are you interested in the workshop? Send a message to [email protected]!

Culture for everyone!
The principle applies at our box office: Everyone gives what they can, and those who can are happy to give more! Because our events should remain accessible to everyone despite rising prices.
That means:
1. Our box office prices are guidelines.
2. Everyone gives what they can. Nobody has to justify themselves. Our admission staff will not ask if you give less.
3. There is a solidarity ticket office at the entrance. If you can give more, you are welcome to leave us a small donation for people who can afford it less and for culture.
