SLAM POETRY V CITADELE

Slam Poetry is a competition of liveliest poetry, complemented by Performance. Come to enjoy the evening packed with energy, creativity and words that will resonate! It resembles a strict rap with a theater recitation. He rhymes almost everything with everything in a crazy way, and his lyrics are honest and personal, and tries to decipher themselves. On the stage, the theater connects with street rap's vulgarity full of humor and word games. In 2019 he became the Slovak Champion in Slam Poetry. After four years, during which he made a living as a street artist juggling at traffic lights across Europe, he returns to the scene. 2022 and the third of the Slovak Slam Poetry Championship in 2023. Thematically moves in intimate-surreal images covered with nihilistic poetics. In parallel, she is also involved in songwriting and is also presented as the organizer of community art forms (Igricinakoberti.sk). Although it is originally from the East, she recently moved to Bratislava. It collects accents, tattoos and writes poetry full of emotional tornadoes, pain, sincere joy and playful moments. Luka Brex is the face of the East, the winner of the final of the antislam, a participant of last year's Slam Poetry Tour and Femislam Tour and the creator of the Slam Undergroun format. In his verses, the remorse of the exhausted nights and sinful decisions, the sharp reflection of Slovak reality and love - one that tastes like cheap wine and hurts as a morning after him are mixed. Although it is one of the seasoned straw players, Luka has a heart especially for underground. As a straw scenes manager in Slovakia, he gives a chance to new voice, which spews on the stages and spawns their first texts like oil in a hot pan.
