Slavnostní koncert k Roku české hudby 2024

The concert by the top orchestral ensemble of Prague's HAMU is dedicated to the Year of Czech Music. The conductor will be Jan Sedláček. In addition to compositions by the great Czech composers A. Dvořák (Prague Waltzes), J. Mysliveček (Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in C Major) and B. Smetana (Scherzo from Triumphal symphony) the composition Prague Nocturne by the important Czech composer of the 20th century, Jan Hanuš, will be heard. Adam Klánský, a student of HAMU, winner of a number of international competitions and a member of the Czech Philharmonic from 2023, will perform as a soloist.
