Drama, Hungary, 2025, 96 min
Where she was born, she definitely won't tolerate anything anymore. That's why he goes out into the world. But life outside is not easy. After a few wild flings, she finally finds what others of her kind only dream of. Love and a new home. Little does she know, however, that a smuggler's den is hatching right next to her freshly laid eggs... Hungarian provocateur György Pálfi (Taxidermia, Final Cut) tells a tragicomic parable about freedom, the fight against the system and the desire for motherhood through the eyes of a feathered heroine. The original black-humor drama with an unexpected star received an Honorable Mention at the Toronto festival.
