Solstice in the vineyard

About event
The celebration of the summer solstice had a deep spiritual, natural and symbolic meaning in pagan Slavic traditions. It was one of the most important holidays of the year, celebrating the peak of the life force and fertility of nature - the earth, humans and animals. Summer solstice is an astronomical phenomenon when the sun is the longest above the horizon and is therefore the longest day of the year.
Fireplaces are part of the celebrations, the flames jump as a ritual of cleansing and protection. Also, people bathed in rivers or dews - water symbolized the rebirth and a new beginning. There is also a wreath of the herbs of St. John's wort and wormwood, which had magical power. It will include lighting the bonfire with the singing and music of the sisters of Bacmaňák (heligónka Kysuce), you will be boiled by Czechoslovak hits by Marcel and Tinky (good company) and the night will culminate in a charming fire show.
All the time will be available wine bar including soft drinks and a rich offer of grill food. Bacmaňáková
