About event
Two legends of the Czech-Slovak rock music scene, Slobodná Európa and Mňága and Žďorp, will play a joint mini-tour in three cities in Slovakia in November 2025.
"Peter Fial and Mňága have known each other for many years, we have often met at festivals. We like them as a band and we are glad that it worked out and we will play a few concerts together. Then in the spring we plan to play a couple of joint concerts performances in the Czech Republic. It will be a nice experience to stand side by side on the same stage - and the fans can certainly look forward to some surprises," says the singer of Slobodná Europe Whiskey.
Concert dates and locations:
14. November 2025 – Bratislava, Majestic Music Club
15. November 2025 – Chosen, House of Culture ŽSR
16. November 2025 – Trenčín, Piano Club
Slobodná Europa was founded in 1989 and has been one of the most prominent bands on the Slovak punk-rock'n'roll scene for over three decades. The band performs in the lineup of Whiskey (vocals), Sveťo Korbeľ (guitar, vocals), Peťo Bálik (guitar), Rasťo Gore (bass guitar, vocals) and Tuleň (drums).
Mňága a Žďorp was founded in 1987 in Valašské Meziříčí. During her career, she developed a unique style based on catchy guitar melodies and lyrics full of insight, irony and melancholy. Among their most famous compositions are Hodinovy hotel, Even the journey can be the destination or No, not now!.
