About event
Project with pianist Júlia Stahl Novosedlíková entitled Slovak Composers in Slovak Cities Vol. 2: PIANO is a continuation of our series of events aimed at bringing the works of contemporary Slovak composers to various cities in Slovakia.
The aim of this year's series is the presentation of a unique album of piano compositions, which were originally created as a gift from composer friends Júlia Stahl Novosedlíková to celebrate her jubilee 30th birthday.
The album of songs is unique in its variety of genres as well as generational ramifications. Composer Juraj Vajó from Košice and Konstantin Ilievsky from Bratislava of Bulgarian origin represent the already mature middle and older generation, Lenka Novosedlíková, Matej Sloboda and Michal Stahl represent the young but already established generation of authors after 35 years of age, and Remigius Klačanský and Martin Lang recent graduates. These seven composers make up the dramaturgy of the concert lasting approximately 50 minutes.
