About event
Already 3.12. will light the Slovak cultural torch of Nitra. Join the relay protest, carry the light with us in dark times when we have to stick together in culture.
The Slovak cultural torch will last in Nitra from 13:00 to 18:00, on the pedestrian zone near the clock.
A traveling book will also be available, in which you can write down your wishes for culture in the new year.
❗Together we demand:
➤ Professional and competent management of the Ministry of Culture and the cessation of purposeful destruction of the sector by its current leadership
➤ Immediate cessation of ideologically motivated censorship with economic impacts, which is implemented through the Ministry's controlled grant support system
➤Immediate financial stabilization of the sector with an emphasis on improving the evaluation and working conditions of people working across the spectrum of established and non-established organizations
🌟 Follow the route of the Slovak Cultural Torch on our social networks and join the relay in your city.
