About event
On December 6, the Slovak Cultural Torch will also be lit in Piešťany. We will meet at 15:00 - 18:00 symbolically at Barlolamač (Colonade Bridge). every day it shines symbolically in a different city as a manifestation of unity and hope for a better situation in Slovakia"
6. will also shine in Piešťany in December. Join us and let's stick together in these times.
On the spot, we will talk with you about the current problems of culture in Slovakia. At the same time, you will be able to write your wish for culture in 2025 in the traveling chronicle.
❗We jointly demand:
➤ Professional and competent management of the department of culture and stopping the purposeful destruction of the sector by its current management
➤ Immediate cessation of ideologically motivated censorship with economic impacts, which is implemented through a department-dominated grant support system
➤Immediate financial stabilization of the sector with an emphasis on improving the evaluation and working conditions of people working across the spectrum of established and non-established organizations
🌟 Follow the route of the Slovak Cultural Torch and join the relay in your city.
