About event
Already on November 23, the Slovak Cultural Torch will light Spišská Nová Ves. Join the relay protest, carry the light with us in dark times, when in culture we have to stick together.
🔥 The Slovak Cultural Torch will be from 2:30 p.m. at the Levočská gate on Letná Street (near the Nostalgia restaurant). A traveling book will also be available, in which you can write down your wishes for culture in the new year.
❗Together we demand:
➤ Professional and competent management of the department of culture and stopping the purposeful destruction of the sector by its of the current leadership
➤ Immediate cessation of ideologically motivated censorship with economic impacts, which is implemented through a system of grant support controlled by the department
➤Immediate financial stabilization of the sector with an emphasis on improving the evaluation and working conditions of people working across the spectrum of established and non-established organizations
🌟 Follow the route of the Slovak Cultural Torch on our social networks and join the relay in your city.
🤝 We stick together!
