✨Aj in February we are preparing another of the Slovak Saturdays with Živena and we cordially invite you to our traditional meeting of parents with children! ✨
What awaits us?
📝 We will complement our Czech-Slovak-Slovak dictionary with new words and terms
and since the topic will be We will also make a smaller carnival, please come with the children in masks - we will have a masquerade ball! We will also visit our friends from the Bonafide Association, who also have a small surprise for children, as well as last year on our fascination Saturday
Fašiangy (other names: fascination; (s), fasäng, fašank, faršongy, faršongy, forsangs, Modezopust, Masopust) is a period from the Three Kings until midnight before the Ash Wednesday. This is followed by 40 days of fasting (introduced only at the end of the 4th century by the Christian Church) until Friday. It is a transitional period (in a customary cycle) between winter and spring full of various folk customs and traditions.
