About event
💫 Connection to the Slovak Heart festival is for us an expression of values, solidarity and highlighting the need for humanity. KKC star is an open place for diversity and creativity. We desire to live in a democratic society where facts and science do not subside to alternatives where the functioning of individuals and states is based on tolerance and the aggressor is a condemnation. We also want to express support for our Ukrainian fellow citizens in difficult times. We fully identify with the announcement of the Slovak Heart festival.
🏡 The event will take place outside in the container installation Metamorphosis next to the star.
🌠 will include an exhibition of anti -war posters of the Ukrainian graphic artist mykol Kovalenka, which draws from the beginning of the Russian invasion and plans to continue unless the invasion ends. Their breakthrough album Carnival Crow (2013) brought them three Radio_Head Awards, including the Best single Award (Father) and the best concert band awards. They collaborated with Eddie Stevens, Aneta Langerová, Jana Kirschner and the band Grass. The latest album of the band is movement! (2024). The members of the group are Juraj Benetin, Ozo Guttler, Lukáš Fila and after the new one is complemented by the fourth member-Tomáš Sloboda. In 2024 he released his debut album "Songs of Youth & Innocence", which got into longlists Radiohláv 2024 for the album and debut of the year, but also on the genre longlist of Slovak folk music.
The album is a collection of ten indie-folk songs focused on the stories of lyrics and minimalist production in which the felt singing is accompanied by choir harmony and atmospheric guitars.
Daniel B performs solo accompanied by acoustic guitar and his interaction with the audience. It plays mostly original songs that occasionally spice up with a cover of one of his favorite songs. It was founded in August 2024 and since February 2025 regularly released new songs on all digital platforms. Their sound is in the spirit of guitar rock'n'roll with fine electronic elements and draws inspiration from the iconic Manchester scene of the 80s and 90s. Although none of the members has personally visited Manchester, his spirit clearly resonates in their music. He believes that most people in Slovakia value human life. We perceive the symbolic shares of the Prime Minister of our country Robert Fico to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin as a betrayal of the basic human values on which our civilization is built, as the betrayal of our country, the European Union and the whole free world.
It is up to us to show that Slovakia is not equal to Robert Fico, that it does not want to be one of the so -called "villain states", where the war is described as peace where it is despised by other nations and where human life is measured by the price of minerals.
We want to reassure our co -forgotions from the European Union that we appreciate the ideas on which this community is standing. We appreciate our membership in the family of democratic European states and want to be a reliable and good partner.
We want to reassure people from Ukraine that we value their brave struggle for freedom and humanity and consider it a contribution to the whole free world. We want to support Ukraine in all ways, if possible, each of us. We want to be a good neighbor, especially in the difficult times that Ukraine is experiencing.
Slovakia was at a crossroads. We will do everything possible to keep our country standing on the right side of history, on the side of humanity.
We want to show that people in Slovakia have a heart in the right place.
