The declaration of the status of civic alert
We, citizens of the Slovak Republic, we declare the state of civil readiness. Slovakia faces a serious threat. The freedoms, independence and democratic values of our country are under the pressure of the government coalition and its steps that disrupt the rule of law, weaken our allies in the EU and NATO and move Slovakia in the direction we refuse.
We cannot keep silent. We are responsible for the future of Slovakia and its position in free and democratic Europe. We call on Robert Fico to respect laws, institutions and rules transparently. We ask the government and constitutional officials to reject any cooperation with Russia, which runs a war in Ukraine and threatens Slovakia. We also require the government to stop attacking Ukraine, which faces brutal aggression of Vladimir Putin and to stop attempts to change the foreign policy orientation of Slovakia in violation of our obligations to the EU and NATO.
Our determination is clear. We will organize protests, petitions and other non -violent events to show that we care in Slovakia. This is not just a fight against political steps - it is a struggle for the values that connect us. Slovakia belongs to Europe, and we will do everything for its free, democratic and safe future.
We will not betray our country or its future. Let us stand together for Slovakia, for democracy, for our place in Europe. Our voice is clear and resilient: We are Slovakia. We are Europe. (Enough Russia!) Saturday, Ružomberok, Trnava, Veľký Krtíš, Žilina ...
