🎖️ AWARD-WINNING PROJECT BioWdesign
We invite you to the accompanying event to NCD25 at the Design Club!
🪑 The BioWdesign project presents the research of the Department of Furniture and Interior Design TUZVO. The output is 5 prototypes of furniture and home products that participated in two important international events "Salone del Mobile - Milano 2024" and "Biomim´EXPO Paris 2024". The research team discovers and explores the unique properties of wood as a material, its micro and macro structure, which make wood a design miracle, using the methods of biomimicry and biomimetics.
This year it was nominated for the Gold Idea Design Award and ranked among the TOP 100 projects among more than 3,500 exhibitors at Furniture China 2025 and Maison Shanghai 2025 in Shanghai!
We are looking forward to it! to the author of the project Zuzana Tončíková and the curator of the project Elena Farkašová from the Technical University in Zvolen.
🎤 Moderated by Zdenka Pepelová.
📍Entry 5 Euros, discounted entry 3 Euros. Payment is only possible in cash. Thank you.
