The Senior Club at the PTTK Branch in Rzeszów invites you for a trip to Slovakia on
11/06/2026 (Thursday). Jasovska Cave and Presov Cave.
According to the decision of the Senior Club management, from September 16, 2025, you can register yourself and one additional person.
Program:
1. Meeting of participants at 5.50 - Main Railway Station in Rzeszów, stand "M". Departure at 6.00.
2. Bus travel on the route: Rzeszów - Jasov - Presov.
3. Transfer to Jasov. We visit the oldest karst cave open to tourists in Slovakia, covered by the highest form of UNESCO protection.
4. Transfer to Presov. A walk through the streets of the Old Town, the third largest city in Slovakia. We will see, among others: 19th century Synagogue, Marian Column, St. Nicholas, the Evangelical-Augsburg Church of St. Trinity and the Greek Catholic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.
5. Free time. Coffee and meal break (on your own).
Return to Rzeszów approx. 20.00.
Recommendations: hiking or sports shoes, clothing adapted to the weather conditions, an additional fleece (the temperature in the cave is low, about 10 degrees), water, a packed lunch for the whole day, an extra euro for small purchases, an ID card or passport (Slovakia).
Entry fee:
*PLN 180 – members of the Senior Club with paid membership and club fees for 2026, (trip co-financed by the PTTK Rzeszów Senior Club).
*PLN 200 – PTTK members with paid membership fee for 2026,
*PLN 250 – others participants.
