We cordially invite you to the last lecture of the spring semester from the Smart Talks called 'Slovak myth?! ... This time the former director of the Slovak National Gallery Katarína Bajcurová. Between 1983 and 1994, she worked at the Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (after 1990 the Institute of the History of the Arts of the SAV). Subsequently (1994 to 2024), she worked in the Slovak National Gallery as a professional director, from 1999 to 2009 as CEO of SNG, later curator of the collections of modern and contemporary art. Since July 2024, she has been CEO of the SAV Sciences Center. He specializes in the history of Slovak visual art 20 and 21st century. She is the author of numerous monographs, book publications, the author of the permanent exhibition SNG and curator of exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad. The lecture will be in the Slovak language.
