The journey of ethics in literature - a cycle of meetings
After the holiday break, we follow our spring cycle - we continue to search for inspired literary stimuli that help us stop, think and share. This time we will think about the universal theme: the meaning of life in the work of Plato, including Socrates' influence. Philosopher PhDr. Miloslava Blažková, CSc., Whose lectures have often taken us to the roots of ethics. Questions about life are among those that have been accompanying humanity from the very beginning. Plato in his constitution is looking for a way to organize the fair life of the individual and the whole municipality - we think together about the offered path. Ancient thinking reminds us that the search for truth and good is not a thing of the past, but still a challenge. What was born in interviews of ancient philosophers is still affected by us today - because questions about how to live meaningfully and responsibly remain alive. Plato's work invites us to listen to the voice of wisdom in our time and get inspired to find their own search. Negatively or positively? We will look for this question Sunday.
