About event
An evening full of snow in Brno.
Experience the best winter films from around the world and domestic productions. Icy rivers, snow-covered mountains, fresh powder and an unbridled winter landscape in 100 minutes of films.
Simply beautiful
Czech Republic￨ 27 min ￨ Go with climbers Mark Holeček and Matěj Bernát on an amazing, exciting and sometimes a humorous way. Witness the joys and sorrows they face during their expedition as they attempt to scale the formidable northwest face of Sura Peak, a hitherto little-known mountain in Nepal.
Ice Falls
Norway￨ 54 min ￨ Catalan adventurer and elite kayaker Aniol Serrasolses breaks boundaries on his arctic expedition in Norway when he descends a 20-meter high ice waterfall – the largest a recorded kayak fall from a glacial waterfall. With his team (including the Czech kayaker David Sodomka) he must set off on a journey beyond the Arctic Circle to the Norwegian Svalbard archipelago in search of elusive waterfalls. Along the way, they must overcome treacherous glacial cliffs and travel miles along the ice shelf to reach the glacial rivers that flow over the frozen cliffs and fall from great heights into the sea.
Arm of the North vol.2
Czech Republic￨ 20 min ￨ Explore the far north with Jirka Lichteneger and Milada Vaňkátová. What is it like to spend 25 days in the winter beyond the Arctic Circle on the border of Finland, Norway and Sweden with your life partner? Skiing 430 km harnessed to bobsleds, on which we make our living? Undoubtedly the hardest and most informative winter trip we've ever done.
