About event
An evening full of wonder, poetry, music and film. Immerse yourself in the universe of A Moonless Night: Snowapple's latest creation. An evening-filling program full of poetry, music and Snowapple's new film in a seemingly endless, moonless night. A Moonless Night takes place in a dim bar where lost souls come together. Snowapple's work is never easy to categorize – A Moonless Night is no exception. It is a genre-transcending musical art project. The special film moves effortlessly between different art forms: from poetry, macroscopic images of objects, dreamy landscapes and music to ecstatic play. Watch the trailer here.
It reminds many of the work of Fellini, David Lynch or Tarkovsky. But made by three idiosyncratic women, including Nora Tinholt and Laurien SHE Snowapple from Amsterdam and Eva Schumacher from Paris.
After the film, the directors will be present for a discussion. Before the film you will be surprised with music and poetry from the film by the many talents of the Snowapple Collective. Fun fact: The film is largely inspired by the Roode Bioscoop where Snowapple has played a lot in recent years. .
