Composed by an evening that will present the already published ŠOA publication – the disappeared stones. Authors of the book: photo Carlos Sarda Vidal, text Zdeněk Barták. The evening will connect literature, history, photography and music and offer the public the opportunity to meet the authors and get an insight into the process of creating the book, which was supported by ŽS Nad Přehradou and MČ Prague 15.
The book is also a reminder of several personalities whose lives were closely connected with Prague 15 and who became victims of the Second World War as part of one of the most terrifying programs in modern history - systematic, in detail of the well-thought-out plan of the Nazi regime for the liquidation of the Jewish population.
Twelve female students of the 9th grade of ZŠ Nad Přehradou decided to portray this stage of history in literature. Based on their interest in the history of the 20th century, the study of available facts and their own imagination, they created unique texts that bring a sensitive and at the same time authentic view of the young generation to the tragic events of the past.
The atmosphere of the evening will be underlined by a lively musical program, dramaturgically linked to individual thematic blocks. The music will create a sensitive connection between the literary inputs and the discussion.
The result will be a culturally rich, sensitively constructed evening that will bring a deeper understanding of local history and strengthen the residents' relationship to Prague 15. The evening will offer the opportunity to share experiences, discuss the importance of preserving local memory and reflect on how the tragic events of the past are reflected in the current life of the Prague 15 community. The event takes place in the Parish Barn.
