MEMORIES OF THE TEN CROWN
Saturday bastion at the castle, program for families with children 6+
Saturday 26 October 2024 │10.00
On Saturday at the castle we will welcome a new painting that will become part of the exhibition See, see and see. Together with the children, we will let the work speak and discover its secrets. Did you know that Mária Medvecká was the author of the proposal for the Czechoslovak banknote that your grandparents used to pay? At Sobotná bašte, we will get to know her unique artistic elements and the inspiration she drew from her native region. We will also talk about how she won the competition for the design of the new ten-koruna banknote.
If you want to learn more about the author and the work, come and play graphic arts with us. We will create an engaging comic and our own banknote using the dry needle technique.
Maximum capacity is 15 children.
Entrance fee: €3.00
You can buy tickets online at www.vstupenky.sng.sk or at the Zvolen Castle box office before the start of the event.
