About event
Saturday carolers: From Christmas Eve to Midnight Mass in Detva
📅 14/12/2024 | 7:00 p.m.
📍 Františkánske námestie, Bratislava
🎼 Folk group DETVANI brings songs and dances from Detva, together with the program Christmas Eve in Detva, inspired by the time from Christmas Eve to The midnight mass, when people sang and cheered. ✨ The original Nativity plays, no less than 100 years old, complete the authentic experience.
💡 The group, active since 1895, presents the traditional customs of Detva - Christmas customs, steamboats, weddings, songs and dances of Podpoľania. Valaský Otčenáš is one of the program blocks. 🎵
🧑🎤 40 members of the ensemble regularly perform at domestic and foreign festivals (Belgium, Hungary, Poland and others).
🎄 We look forward to seeing you! Come and enjoy the real Christmas atmosphere. Entry is free!
📸 Important notice: Photo and video recordings may be made during the event for promotional purposes.
ℹ️ Organizer: Bratislava Cultural and Information Center
