The Swedish visionaries SOEN are returning to Bratislava. Martin Lopez (ex-Opeth) and Joel Ekelöf will bring a wave of technical precision and deep emotions. Progressive metal that does not push the saw, but absorbs with its atmosphere and rhythmic playfulness. A lesson in modern melancholy awaits you in Randal on August 26.
SOEN have long since stepped out of the shadow of the "supergroup" label. Since the debut Cognitive (2012), the formation around drum magician Martin Lopez has developed into one of the most stable pillars of contemporary progressive rock and metal. Their work stands on the contrast between Lopez's complex polyrhythms and Joel Ekelöf's crystal clear, emotional vocals.

Don't expect any empty technical exhibitions; each note has its place in a carefully constructed architecture of songs that draw inspiration from the legacy of Tool or art-rock urgency, but transform them into their own, uniquely organic world. Current records such as Reliance and Memorial confirm that SOEN are at the peak of their creative powers. They can be overwhelmingly hard, but immediately lull the listeners in ballad passages that do not lose their intensity even in the quietest moments.

Allow us to introduce the Slovak band ZEMETRAS, who with their amazing debut album earned the place of frontrunner for the Swedish band SOEN. Slow, dense, psychedelic. If you love American Windhand, you'll love ZEMETRAS!
