Calm Sea is the project that Soleá Morente should have completed with her father, the great Enrique Morente. Produced by a trusted friend of the family, Isidro Muñoz – brother of Manolo Sanlúcar –, Soleá is inspired by a heterogeneous repertoire to propose a portrait as intimate as it is universal of the poetics of the Morente family, rooted in flamenco but open to the curiosity of the colors of other aromas such as jazz and Brazilian music. A beautiful exercise that goes beyond nostalgia and presents us with an artist in a state of grace. Soleá, two guitars and a unique repertoire, in the crystal-clear acoustics of the Conservatori Liceu: a night to remember.
