Discover the hidden history of Amsterdam intersectional solidarity.

Listen to women and LGBTQIA+ pioneers who have been fighting for equality for decades, and to Turkish and Moroccan activists who have helped shape Amsterdam since the 1970s and 1980s.

A unique opportunity to hear all these special people who have permanently changed the city together, with stories that you rarely experience so personally.

Poetry & spoken word brings their stories to life; an ode to resistance and connection.

We also present a special booklet, made by participants of an archive workshop led by spoken word artist Rots. They searched the Amsterdam archives (including ATRIA, IHLIA and The Black Archives) for unknown heroes and - inspired by their finds - wrote a poem, spoken word piece or short story.

An afternoon full of conversations, performances and film, where past and present meet, and together we build the Amsterdam of tomorrow.
