About event
Do you want to start dancing and don't have a partner? ❔ Are you afraid that you won't get along as a couple? ❔ Do you swing dance and want to be able to stand on your own on the dance floor? ❔ Do you want to try it, but you don't know if you'll enjoy it?
☝️ We have an easy answer to all these questions: is there an ✨ open solo jazz lesson ✨
🗓️ every Thursday from 6 p.m.
📍 in the ABC Rehearsal (Vodičkova 32, Prague 1)
🧠 WHAT IS IT ABOUT? 🧠
💃 In the lessons, we learn to be on our own on the dance floor and express different types of swing and jazz music in dance. We develop a sense of rhythm, we play and dance solo not only alone, but mainly together.
🕺 The individual lessons do not follow each other, but each week we focus on a different topic: sometimes specific solo jazz steps, other times music, improvisation... and gradually we will also learn some of the simple choreographies that are danced in dance halls.
🤔 IS IT FOR ME? 🤔
It is! 🙂 It doesn't matter if you've never danced or if you're already a well-known company on the swing scene. It doesn't matter if you are 20, 40 or 60 - everyone dances here. If you want to learn to dance solo, come!
💶 WHAT FOR? 💶
You can subscribe to the course or attend individual lessons when it suits you. It's up to you.

💡 ORGANIZATIONALLY 💡
👕 you don't need anything special, come in it, in what's good for you and you can move in it
👞 you need to change into indoor shoes for the hall, they don't have to be dance shoes (we definitely do not recommend heels, but if your shoes slip a little, your knees will thank you)
