About event
In January 2026, the "Solution Focused - Solution Focused Approach (BASIC: 80 hours)" training opens, the lecturer of which will be psychologist, coach Mgr. Katarína Bradáč, and since there was a demand for it from your side even after the closing date, we are extending its closing date until November 20, 2025. We are looking forward to all interested parties!
If you are interested, please contact me here on Facebook or at the email address: [email protected].
Who is the training intended for?
For psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, teachers, coaches, managers, but also for anyone who wants to effectively conduct conversations and support others on the way from the problem to the desired change.
What is Solution Focused (SF)?
SF belongs to postmodern (systemic) approaches. The founders of the approach are Steve de Shazer and his colleague and wife Insoo Kim Berg and their colleagues at the BFTC (Brief Family Therapy Center in Milwaukee).
SF offers a paradigm, a turn in thinking that shifts attention from problem analysis to developing a desired future. And very effectively.
The term Solution Focused is also associated with the term "Brief Therapy", i.e. short therapy. It's short because it's efficient, not because it's truncated. Its effectiveness, in addition to diverting from the problem and focusing on what the client wants instead, lies in the fact that it builds on the client's existing internal or external resources and on exceptions to the problem, when the client's resources were already activated in the past (and he often did not notice it). It builds on the harbingers (shards) of the future desired state (solutions) that have happened or are already happening.
What will the participant take away?
The participant will acquire specific techniques and an understanding of the reasons for their use in a specific situation during cooperation with the client. At the same time, he creates his own style of work and learns the art of reflecting on his work.
What does SF bring to the worker and the client?
The ease of being in cooperation. Focus on the desired state supports motivation, hope, creativity, humor, and reduces the risk of burnout.
The acquired basic and advanced SF skills can also be transferred to other contexts of the worker's life, and the workers enthusiastically report how they have changed their attitude, communication and thinking in their private lives as well, and how a new perspective on the problem and desired future helps them lighten their daily functioning and helps improve communication and relationships.
