Professor Šimková's name is inherently linked to theater criticism and the theater Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts, where it has shaped generations of graduates and graduates for more than half a century and was one of the distinctive personalities in the international theatrological context. It develops further ”. During the memorial evening we will welcome three guests, who was associated with it not only the theater profession, but also by friendships and the common student years. We will talk about her life and work with translator Elena Flašková, theatrologist Jana Wild and director Ľubomír Vajdička.
Elena Flašková studied French and German and works as an artistic translator from these languages. In 1975 she graduated from the FFUK - Translation Department - Interpreting - French - German. Since 1989 he has been teaching French language at the Academy of Performing Arts. Until 2018 she was the head of the Department of Languages. He is currently working at the Department of Director and Dramaturgy, where he teaches French literature and leads the translation seminar. She was awarded the premium of the Slovak Literary Fund (for the translation of the use of the words Nathalie Sarraut, for the Games of Valère Novarina and for the translation from Germany Čárymáryfuchpunč Michael Ende). She is the bearer of the French state award of the Knight of Art and Literature.
Jana Wild studied theater and film science at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She was an editor at the Encyclopedic Institute of SAS, a professional worker at the National Theater Center and since 1997 the Vice -Dean of Drama and Puppet Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts. Since 1991 she was also a colleague of Professor Šimková in the field of VŠMU. It is mainly about Shakespeare. She wrote several monographs, edited international Shakespeare collections, occasionally writing about the Slovak theater. For her father of literary critic, Festschrift compiled eighty Jozef Bžoch (Petit Press 2006). For her son, she wrote a book of nonsenses between carnival and Dada Mom, and climbing frames for "rewarts" (Europe, 2017). Her book projects for joy have also been added a collection of theater science as a journey for Soňa Šimková. Since 1968 he has won an engagement at the Slovak National Uprising (today the Slovak Chamber Theater) in Martin. In Martin, together with the scenographer Jozef Ciller, they created a number of productions of Slovak and Russian classics. Since 1983 he has been a director at the Slovak National Theater, and he has been guesting mainly in the Czech Republic. Among other things, he also directed many television productions and translates games from French, Russian, German. Since 1986 he worked at the Academy of Performing Arts as a teacher at the Department of Director and Dramaturgy, he won an academic title and professor.
