SONDA festival - Sonic Spaces
Lom Hády
2. 11. 2024
=======================
The opening event of this year's SONDA festival will be the performance of environmental geo-sound installation in the Hády quarry on Saturday, November 2.
The spatial installation, which is currently being created by the eight-member creative collective of the Trychtýř project for the selected location, deals with geological themes and will be seen and heard throughout the afternoon, culminating in an early evening performance at 4 p.m. :00.
Different sounds of minerals, sonification of form-forming geological disasters and the slow passage of time are just some of the elements that you can expect at the site.
Working on the installation:
► Michal Marenčík ( SK) – dissolving limestone, objects, code, sound
► Eliška Janečková (CZ) – 3D prints, objects, speculative design
► Filip Dobrocký (SK) – code, wifi mesh, sound
► Lucie Vobr Jestřabíková (CZ) – ceramics, porcelain
► Kristína Zubáková – assistance
► Jakub Nečas - assistance
► Mgr. Tomáš Kumpan, Ph.D. – expert consultant, geology
► Jiří Y. Suchánek – project coordination, mechatronics, kinetic objects, code, sound
We hereby ask visitors in advance to be as considerate of nature as possible when moving around of this protected site.
