Event by: BUND Berlin
Location: Réaumurstraße 17, Réaumurstraße 17, Berlin - Bezirk Steglitz-Zehlendorf
About event
The focus of the leadership: spontaneous vegetation and its adaptation to the climate (change) and location
For 30 years, the "Lichterfeld pasture landscape" has been carefully shaped with a mosaic of different biotopes for 30 years. For many insect groups that occur in very large biodiversity and of which many are rare and endangered in Germany.
All of these species have settled on their own. This spontaneous settlement also means that the types are adapted to the changing climate, because they have "selected" this living space themselves with all its location conditions. This is shown and explained in detail in the event. The federal government has taken over the care and thus the successful care concept is continued.
