Event photography is one of the most exciting and at the same time the most challenging disciplines in professional image design. It requires a high level of technical precision, a good feel for the right moment and often physical endurance. At the same time, the field is extremely diverse: whether major sporting events, emotional weddings, atmospheric folk festivals, business events or private celebrations - everything is about capturing fleeting moments authentically and expressively.
A focus of the Sony PRO Conference Tour 2025 is on the unique technologies of the Alpha 9 III. Thanks to the global shutter, flash photography in the event sector is experiencing a renaissance: for the first time, flash can be fired at any shutter speed - even with the aperture open and with small, mobile flashes. This opens up new creative freedom for professional workflows.
Another lecture is dedicated to the beautiful and inspiring sides of wedding photography. It's about the question of how to keep an eye on special moments even in stressful situations and use creativity to create images that touch.

With Stefan Voitl and Michelle Fiedler we have two absolute professionals on board who master the subject of event photography in their own way - and are ready to pass on their knowledge:
- Stefan Voitl is known for his work in the areas of sports, outdoor and reportage photography. He often works under challenging conditions and shows how to deliver reliable results even in dynamic, unplannable situations - both technically and in terms of content.
- Michelle Fiedler works as a wedding photographer on an international level under the name weddingsandotherstories. Her photographic signature combines emotion and elegance: images that are approachable and authentic, but at the same time appear modern and stylish. In an inspiring way, she teaches how to keep a clear head in stressful situations - and still create creative, expressive images.
