Rap has a round half a century or more. He added a voice, the expression, the lyric, the socially political criticism ... and in the very fundamental nineties, the sound got sound. What was missing? Drum. DJ Muggs. Cypress Hill. President Soul Assassins, a click that includes House of Pain or Funobiest in addition to his home band. DJ Muggs came and dominated the game as canast. He closed it out of his hand. The horsepower made a soundtrack of Pobo for the whole generation that evokes the death of Jump Around, Insane in the Brain). Large dark bitter drums haven't surpassed anything for a lot of heartbreakers.
The most beautiful on the story of DJ Muggs is that it is straddled on an area of thirty -five years. He never became a parody of himself. He did not start to repeat or robbed. He became a model worthy of following. He started a lot of distinctive movies. He released his first “producer compilation” - Soul Assassins with guests as Dr. DRE, B-REAL, Mobb Deep, RZA, GZA, Goodie Mob, Krs-One or Wyclef. He also showed his experimental / trip hop position - see Juxtapose board with Tricky and Grease or Dust with three Greg Dulli, Amy Trujillo and Everlast. He recorded a lot of great MC/producer records, where he always had the magic of the moment and instead of spilling beats out of the drawer and sending the stanza by email or posting pigeon, he always closed to the studio with the person. Marciano, or Yelawolf) returns his energy back and underground scene, and with the same passion does in his Slaj Dark Masterpieces with people like CrimeApple, Mach-Hommy, Tha God Fahim, Flee Lord and Rome Streetz. But most of all - as a true Grand Master, he made a sign of the largest format. It won't let it end. He sends the best of himself when he took as a young ear under the wing of a young disciple and became his mentor. And it worked out when the disciple was The Alchemist. Touch for one of the most precious specimens. Experience it personally. On your own ears, listen to the sound of the past, present and the future. And to meet one of his architects live there. Jump Around, Insane in the Brain, Throw Your Set in the Air, How and Could Just Kill and Man, When the Shit Goes Down, Boom Biddy Bye, and a lot of other Hymen you have definitely heard a million times. But from who composed them? You have to be here.
